Overview

The Project Change Blueprint is a self-paced e-learning Change Management course that will take you through a step-by-step process to execute the Change Management for a project - no matter how big or small.  You will learn all the tricks of the trade from the experts, cutting out unnecessary red tape and exhausting spreadsheets. Each module contains fit-for-purpose tools that you can use immediately to put your newly acquired knowledge into practice.

Prerequisite: it is recommended that you have a change case study that you can work on as you progress through this training. The just-in-time learning will ensure that you will retain the knowledge long term.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the course you will:
  • Understand the various Project Management and Change Management methodologies and how they interact with each other.
  • Develop insights into the change landscape of organisations, including change maturity and fatigue
  • Understand the drivers of change, as well as the change governance structures typically used in organisations and develop the ability  to design a change approach tailored for different projects
  • Measure the impact the change will have on the organisation
  • Learn about the stakeholder engagement process and how to develop suitable communications strategies and plans
  • Be able to craft a change plan that is inclusive of a communication and training plan for a specific group of stakeholders
  • Understand the importance of defined change roles, and the project governance required to ensure position change for effective execution.
  • Understand peoples’ reaction to change and create strategies to help stakeholders through change
  • Identify change risks and issues, and how to address these
  • Understand the basics principles of about Change Management Metrics and the importance of benefits tracking and realisation
  • Learn about strategies to embed and evaluate the change

Learning delivery method
This learning will be delivered through a series of structured virtual coaching sessions, using various informal teaching methods to suit the content being covered.
​It is a personable learning environment, delivering just-in-time, self-paced learning through a series of short and to-the-point videos.

Overview module 1 - The Change Landscape
This module will cover topics that will prepare you to draft your change approach. Look at the type of change, the reason for the change, as well as the organisation’s change fatigue and maturity.  These are all essential aspects that will influence your approach. These frequently overlooked aspects are some to the tricks of the trade that can make the difference between a successful and unsuccessful change implementation.

Overview module 2 – The Change Approach
Module 2 will introduce the elements that make up the change approach. Once you understand these, you will be well placed to interact with the key stakeholders of your project, engage with them, and position the change initiative.

Overview module 3 - Change Planning
In this module, you will be exposed to critical artefacts and processes required to put together a complete change plan. Reactions to change and stakeholder assessment and mapping are included as well.

Overview module 4 - Implementation
Now that you completed your approach and drafted the change plan, you will be ready for implementation. Furthermore, you will understand the need for risk  management,  understand the role of data management and feedback from the customers as a resistance management strategy and how to be transition ready.

Overview module 5 - Closing Actions
Discover the importance of measuring and evaluating the change. Benefits realisation and tracking, embedding the change and handover are covered in this module as the project phases are coming to an end.

Overview module 6 - Case study and Quiz
Conclude your course with a full case study and assessment, followed by a face-to-face coaching session.The personal effectiveness of the Change Manager will also be discussed.
All the tools and templates discussed throughout the course are also included here in one handy file for easy access. .
